What most people tend to forget is, who you are, is not something set in stone or encoded permanently in your genes, but something soft and pliable, something transitional and alive, something that is created over the course of a life and never truly finished.
I am always in motion. Always endeavouring to better the parts of myself that I believe could benefit my own life and the loves of those who know me.
For instance, I am a loner at heart, but you would never know it, because despite the dull steady ache in the back of my mind always begging me to leave, I regularly make the effort to leave the house and mingle, to appear both approachable and friendly.
You can choose to ignore your natural tendencies and instead fight to take control of your behaviour, and shape yourself into the confident and powerful human being we all have the potential to be.
You are not at the mercy of your limitations. It's not about what you are born with, but who you grow into.
